2025 was a milestone year for Resail.org and the numbers tell the story.
Over 10,000 m² of sails rehomed
In 2025, more than 10,000 square meters of sail material found a new purpose in 2025. Over the course of the year, we proudly sold more than 350 sails, 300 pre-owned sails and 50 new sails from different sailmakers.
Upcycling in motion
We delivered more than 1,000 m² of sail material to inspiring partners such as 360grad in Hamburg. Together, we transformed retired sails into creative, circular products, a powerful example of what innovation and collaboration can achieve.
A truly global journey
Our sails traveled across 26 countries, from individual sailors in the Mediterranean to charter fleets in the Caribbean. Sustainability, it turns out, has no borders.
From the biggest to the smallest
Each sail is more than just material. It carries a story of creativity, collaboration, and impact. From massive industrial sails to the smallest offcuts, every single piece contributed to a more circular future in 2025.
