The sail has a total area of 24.5 square meters. The luff (front edge) measures 12.37 meters, and the foot (bottom edge) measures 3.84 meters.

What are the advantages of a furling mainsail?

Accepted Answer

Furling mainsails offer significant benefits for cruising and short-handed sailing. They allow for easy deployment, reefing, and stowing directly from the cockpit, enhancing safety and convenience by reducing the need to go forward on deck. This system simplifies sail handling, making your time on the water more enjoyable.
